Bryn and Dru moved to Los Angeles in the summer of 2012, from Ohio and Florida respectively, meeting through serendipitous circumstances that included chow mein and the Star of David. They met Waldemar shortly thereafter in a record store of all places, bonding over their mutual admiration for Prince. After writing and performing without a permanent bass player for nearly 2 years, the band found their missing link in Deeden Michael after having their minds blown by his performance with a reggae band one fateful night in Orange County.
