A few years ago, we started out with a simple idea to become the most artist-friendly record label in the world. From the studio to release day and everything in between, we are passionate about our artists making the music they love and support their growth at every step of the way.
In a few years time, we’ve been lucky enough to become one of the premiere independent labels for solo acts, who have headlined some of most iconic bands of all-time while developing an eclectic roster of artists, who we empower to be uniquely themselves, and stand up for the things they care about most.
We don’t measure success in terms of chart positions, awards, or by spreadsheets. We leave it to each artist to define success on their own terms.
At Blue Élan Records, everyone out on stage and behind the scenes is held together by the common thread that music should never be a competition, judged by followers or likes. But, music is one. . .

At Blue Élan Records, everyone out on stage and behind the scenes is held together by the common thread that music should never be a competition, judged by followers or likes. But, music is one of the most vulnerable expressions of the human form, carefully produced by voices that deserve to be nurtured, and never overlooked.
Show LessWe do not stick our head in the sand when it comes to social issues. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment and to delivering impact in communities to promote equality among our staff and our artists.
We've recently partnered with Soundwaves Art Foundation to help raise money for Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, an organization dedicated to assisting professional musicians who are unable to afford health-related services, including mental health services in partnership with Music's Mental Health Fund and Backline.
Created by artist Tim Wakefield, the philanthropic foundation creates unique pieces of art from the sound waves of songs, gets the musicians behind those songs to autograph each piece, and donates all profits from the art sales. They have donated over $7.5M to charities by working with 600+ musicians.
As part of this initiative, a special collection of curated soundwaves art, by six Blue Élan artists, is up for grabs and all profits will be donated to the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. You can purchase a limited, signed art piece created from Show More
