Man Boy Brown is the alter ego of Raul Pacheco, vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, and co-founding member of three-time Grammy-winning Los Angeles band Ozomatli. His first solo album reflects the eternal adolescence he’s embraced since forming the groundbreaking multicultural group three decades ago, blending romantic Latin ballads, Mexican corridos, and spacious arrangements that allow melody and emotion to breathe. The project captures a seasoned artist looking both backward and forward, grounded in tradition while carving out a distinct creative identity.

Led by the single “Moving On,” Man Boy Brown marks a declaration of independence and renewed purpose, balancing reflection with momentum and themes of connection, growth, and love. Collaborating with an international cast of musicians, Pacheco explores intimacy, nostalgia, and self-discovery through songs that range from old-school bolero and disco-tinged grooves to confessional, singer-songwriter moments.
