Show More Colin Devlin has released two solo records to date. His acclaimed 2010 solo debut, Democracy of One and 2018’s High Point. The Irish songwriter’s approach to finely crafted music has always remained steadfast. His cinematic tracks have been featured in more than a dozen films and TV shows over the past two decades. Both solo projects were produced by longtime collaborator Pierre Marchand (Sarah McLachlan, Rufus Wainwright) and recorded in Los Angeles and Montreal. Devlin’s songs have always explored the darkness and light of human relationships set to moody soundscapes influenced by artists like David Bowie, Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, and David Sylvian. The tracks still recall the shadowy rhythms of The DEVLINS. The DEVLINS toured the world in the 1990s and early 2000s in support of the four major label albums, and are set to release their much anticipated and long awaited new record for Blue Élan in 2024 produced by Rob Kirwan (Hozier, PJ Harvey).
