“I’m incredibly excited to share this new album I’ve worked so hard on with everyone,” Myles shares. "It reflects my journey through self-empowerment, love, and healing – a true testament to everything I’ve experienced. I know my fans have been waiting for this, and I’m so grateful to finally put it into their hands to connect with and resonate with.”
Laced is a powerful collection of 12 songs that explores the complexities of love, loss, reflection, connection, and self-empowerment. The title track, “Laced,” stands out as a raw and deeply personal exploration of the tumultuous effects of a toxic relationship, where love becomes entangled with pain and addiction. Through strikingly vivid lyrics, the song captures the cycle of desire and heartbreak, revealing how passion can blur into emotional chaos. Each line paints the contrast of being both captivated and trapped by a love that ultimately causes harm. Resonating with honesty and vulnerability, “Laced” mirrors the difficulty of recognizing toxicity and the haunting realization that what once felt like love can leave you bound by hurt and regret. Produced, engineered, and mixed by Ross Hogarth and mastered by Richard Dodd, Lacedwas recorded in several studios, including Dave’s Room Studio, Arlyn Studios, and Treehaus Recording Studio. With Myles co-writing each song, the project also features songwriting contributions from talented writers, including Gary Nichols, Matt Morrisey, David Grissom, Helen Darling, Jeff Cohen, Jeff Trott, Melody Federer, Erik Halbig, Rachel Thibeau, Andrew Rollins, Ethan Hulse, Brian White, Harry Lee Smith, and Michael Higgins.
Now part of the Blue Élan family, Myles is poised for a landmark year as she continues releasing new music that blends soul, strength, and storytelling. The album follows the success of her previous release Live at Apogee Studio, a raw and compelling live album recorded in a single take and mixed by Bob Clearmountain. With her signature authenticity and unmatched vocal power, Myles continues to cement her place as one of Americana and country music’s most magnetic rising voices.
Myles first captured national attention as a top-three finalist on NBC’s The Voice (Team Camila), where she earned the fastest four-chair turn in the show’s history. She has since performed over 100 shows a year, including a widely praised debut at the Grand Ole Opry, and has been featured by Billboard, CMT, People, Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, amongst others. Myles also recently concluded her successful Exclusive First Listen Tour, where she gave fans an intimate preview of new material at select venues across the country.
