Morgan Myles Finds Her Way Back To Joy With New Single “Heartache To Hallelujah”

Following the deeply personal Laced, Myles turns to unconditional love, healing and the four-legged soulmate who helped her through one of the hardest chapters of her life

Morgan Myles turns the page on a difficult chapter with “Heartache to Hallelujah,” a deeply personal new single available today via Blue Élan Records. Following the release of her album Laced, which documented heartbreak, loss and the decision to walk away from a relationship and future she once believed she was building, “Heartache to Hallelujah” finds Myles looking back from the other side and recognizing the unexpected source of comfort that helped carry her through.

The song was inspired by Myles’ dog, who was by her side through the loss of her cousin and the unraveling of her relationship. What began as a deeply personal story became something broader: a tribute to the animals who seem to know exactly what we need, often without us saying a word.

“‘Heartache to Hallelujah’ is the reflection after the storm,” says Myles. “Laced was about one of the hardest chapters of my life, but this song is about the unconditional love that helped me through it. It’s a love letter to my dog and to every animal that sits beside us through the chapters we’re not sure how we’re going to survive. It’s about those four-legged therapy sessions and finding your way back to a hallelujah, little by little.”

In many ways, “Heartache to Hallelujah” is the natural next chapter to Laced. While that album confronted the anger, grief and heartbreak of walking away, the new single looks at what remained: the small moments of comfort, the relationships that carried her forward and the realization that healing doesn't always arrive in one dramatic moment. Sometimes, it has four legs and simply stays by your side.

The release comes during a remarkable year for Myles, who has continued to build on the momentum surrounding Laced and her growing connection with the Grand Ole Opry. Last month, Myles was unexpectedly asked by the Opry team to perform when another artist had to drop out of a show. The opportunity became an especially significant moment when she learned it would be the very night the music world was mourning the death of Dolly Parton. Myles took the stage and performed “I Will Always Love You” as a tribute, turning an unexpected invitation into an unforgettable Opry moment.

Myles first captured national attention as a Top 3 finalist on NBC’s The Voice (Team Camila), where she earned the fastest four-chair turn in the show's history. Since then, she has performed more than 100 shows a year and established herself as a powerful vocalist and songwriter with a growing presence in country and Americana. Her music has been recognized by Billboard, CMT, People, Rolling Stone, American Songwriter and the Grand Ole Opry, among others.

With “Heartache to Hallelujah,” Morgan Myles isn't leaving the heartache behind so much as acknowledging what helped her survive it—and finding something to be grateful for on the other side.
