A wistful, plaintive ballad, “Last Call Train” tells the story of waiting for a lover who never arrives, capturing both the heartbreak and quiet resilience of holding on to hope against all odds. “It’s about ignoring the people offering you shelter and still waiting for someone who doesn’t show up,” says Angelis. “You know what they say about insanity—doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”
