    Soul Asylum

Soul Asylum is vocalist/guitarist Dave Pirner, drummer Michael Bland, lead guitarist Ryan Smith and bassist Winston Roye. The quartet will release 2020’s Hurry Up And Wait which reflects Soul Asylum’s usual eclectic approach: thrashing songs indebted to punk and classic rock, folk-influenced pop-rock, and gorgeous jangle-pop (lead single “If I Told You”). The band first achieved commercial breakthrough with 1992’s triple platinum Grave Dancers Union. That album spawned several international hits, including”Runaway Train”, which won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song, and “Black Gold”, making Soul Asylum alternative radio and MTV staples. Chelsea Williams

Singer-songwriter Chelsea Williams is looking set for a breakthrough year in 2020, after unveiling her new Americana-pop single “Red Flag”. Recorded this past fall with multi-instrumentalist and producer Ross Garren (Bon Iver, Ben Folds) and mixed by Grammy award-winning Dave Way (Phoebe Bridgers, Sheryl Crow), “Red Flag” perfectly spotlights Williams’ crystalline vocals. “Red Flag” picked up a recent feature on Apple Music’s Breaking Country and Pure Country Radio, and is the first single in a series of new music coming soon. Rod Melancon

Rod Melancon's latest album Pinkville was recorded in a series of live takes in Adrian Quesada’s (Black Pumas) Austin-area Studio. Blurring the lines between roadhouse country-rock, Texas blues, Louisiana soul, and all points between, Melancon is steady on the rise after being a featured guest on NPR’s All Things Considered. An opener for Hayes Carll on his Fall 2019 tour, Rod’s music continues to reach new heights with recent airplay on KSUN and Austin’s very own KUTX. You can also find him on season two of the Austin Chronicle’s Q&A Hole. Listen to Pinkville here: http://lnk.blueelanrecords.com/westgate Follow Rod on Instagram

    Gina Sicilia

Gritty soul and blues singer, Gina Sicilia, always stays one step ahead in her songwriting and music. The Nashville-based artist has never been one to sit still musically: “I got into blues and soul when I was a young teenager,” she says, “and by the time I was 18 or 19, I was singing in a blues band. Between her first EP in 2007 (Allow Me to Confess) and her upcoming album (Love Me Madly), she’s earned multiple award noms, top 10 Blues chart positions, and has even won praise from Cody Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), who also produced the new record. In his own words: “Gina is an incredible singer and a phenomenal songwriter. It’s very simple, she is a force of nature.” Pre-save her new single “Misery with You” here: http://lnk.blueelanrecords.com/miserywithyou Follow Gina on Instagram

    Roan Yellowthorn

Roan Yellowthorn is Jackie McLean and Shawn Strack. Jackie McLean was drawn to music from an early age, and continued to sing throughout her formative years at Bard College, where she met multi-instrumentalist/now-husband, Shawn Strack. After releasing their first full-length album (Indigo) in 2018, and playing dates nationally, including Adam Duritz’s Underwater Sunshine Festival, Roan Yellowthorn’s ascent to commercial success is poised for launch. As for the rest of 2020? It’s a laundry list of creative projects, which include an EP and studio time with producer John Agnello (Alvvays, Dinosaur Jr., Twin Peaks).
